The N-Gage is a mobile telephone and handheld game system by Nokia, based on the Nokia Series 60 platform, released in October 2003. It began sales on October 7, 2003.[2] The N-Gage QD replaced the original N-Gage in 2004.
N-Gage attempted to lure gamers away from the Game Boy Advance by including cellphone functionality. This was unsuccessful, partly because the buttons, designed for a phone, were not well-suited for gaming and when used as a phone the original N-Gage was described as resembling a "taco".[6][9]
In 2005, Nokia announced that it would move its N-Gage games capabilities onto a series of smartphones. These devices have been available since early 2007, and a pre-release version of the N-Gage application allowing users to purchase and download games was made available for download from the official N-Gage website on February 4, 2008.[3][4] The full version of the N-Gage service was released to the public on April 3, 2008.[5]
The Nokia N900 is Nokia's new Maemo based Mobile Internet device and phone, superseding the N810. It was launched at Nokia World on 2 September 2009 and was expected to be released on 27 September 2009 (but this date has slipped to the end of October 2009) in the United States and on 30 October 2009 in 9 European countries. It runs Maemo 5 Linux as its operating system and is the first Nokia device based upon the TI OMAP3 microprocessor with ARM Cortex-A8 core. Unlike the Internet Tablets preceding it, the Nokia N900 will be the first Maemo device to include phone functionality (quad-band GSM and 3G UMTS). It functions as a 5 mega pixel camera, a portable media player, and an Internet client with email and web browsing.
The N900 is being launched alongside Maemo 5, giving the device an overall more touch-friendly interface and a customizable home screen which mixes application icons with shortcuts and widgets. Maemo 5 supports Adobe Flash 9.4, and includes many applications designed specifically for the mobile platform such as a new touch-friendly media player
The X1 is an arc-slider phone with the Windows Mobile 6.1 Operating System. It is Sony Ericsson's first mobile phone to feature Windows Mobile.[1] . The device also has a Java virtual machine (JBed) and supports JavaME [5] that is claimed to have a richer set of features than typically available.
The phone features a three-inch resistive touchscreen overlaying a keypad which emerges when the user slides the touchscreen face upward, much as in the HTC TyTN II, although the X1's touchscreen slides out in an arc. Its touchscreen is a 65,536-color TFT WVGA display. It has a 3.2 megapixel digital camera which records video at thirty frames per second in VGA (640x480) quality. There is also a secondary front facing camera for videoconferencing that is of QCIF format. Connectivity options for the phone include: mini-USB; wireless LAN 802.11b/g; Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, FTP, and HID; EDGE; and quad-band GSM, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, and HSCSD. The X1 has 512MB of internal memory (400MB free), which is expandable to 16 gigabytes using High Capacity microSD cards, currently cards up to 32 gigabytes have been released by SanDisk.[6] The phone also features A-GPS for navigation.[7]
The X1 ships with Opera Mobile pre-installed.
Standard features on the X1 include push email, an RSS feed aggregator, and handwriting recognition.
It is also able to use the GSM network feature Alternate line service.[8]
The device is powered by Qualcomm's ARM 11 MSM7200A CPU, which runs at 528 MHz. The device's memory is 256 MB RAM[9].

Nokia announced two high-end music phones at the Nokia World Conference in Stuttgart, Germany. The Nokia X3 and X6 handsets build on the company's established Xpress Music line, but offer revamped designs and upgraded features. Both models support Nokia's Ovi service and access to Facebook.
